Getting Started

Setting up Kapaldo AI Agent takes about five minutes — no developer needed. Sunod ra ning mga steps:

Step 1 — Create your account (or log in)​

Go to kapaldo.com/login and sign up for a free Kapaldo account, or log in if you already have one. This is the same account used across Kapaldo — you don't need a separate login for the AI Agent.

Step 2 — Open the AI Agent dashboard​

Go to kapaldo.com/agent/dashboard. This is your control center — everything about your AI agent lives here.

Step 3 — Connect your Facebook Page​

Click Connect Facebook Page and you'll be sent to Facebook's own login screen to approve a few permissions. Here's what they mean in plain words:

  • Read and reply to messages on your Page — this is how the AI sees a customer's question and sends the reply. It only touches your Page's Messenger inbox — never your personal Facebook account, friends list, or timeline.
  • Basic Page info (name, profile picture) — just so the dashboard can show which Page is connected.

This connection uses Facebook's official login (OAuth) — Kapaldo never sees or stores your Facebook password. You stay in control and can disconnect the Page at any time from the dashboard.

Step 4 — Fill in your business info​

Still in the dashboard Setup tab, fill in:

  • Business name and description — a short line about what you sell.
  • Products / menu with prices — add each item and its price. The AI only quotes prices you've entered here; it never guesses.
  • FAQs — common questions and their answers (delivery areas, opening hours, minimum order, etc.).
  • GCash / Maya numbers — so the AI can share your payment details directly with customers.
  • Delivery info — areas you deliver to, fees, hours, or pickup instructions.
  • Reply language and tone — choose Auto (matches the customer), or lock it to Bisaya, Tagalog, or English, plus a tone (friendly, warm, casual, professional).

Step 5 — Turn it on and test it​

Flip the AI agent is active toggle on. Then, from a different Facebook account (a friend's, or a second profile), send your Page a message like "Magkano ang [product]?" and watch the AI reply in real time. Check the Conversations tab in your dashboard to see the exchange.

Tip for food sellers: Update your menu every morning — mark sold-out items as unavailable and adjust prices if needed. The AI only knows what's in your product list, so a quick morning update keeps it accurate all day.
