Sync Your Products to Facebook & Instagram

This guide walks you through connecting your Kapaldo store to Facebook Commerce Manager so your products automatically appear in your Facebook Shop and Instagram Shopping — no technical setup required on your end after the first connection.


What you will need

  • A Kapaldo vendor account with at least one active store
  • A Facebook Business account with access to Facebook Commerce Manager
  • Products with images uploaded (products without images will not appear on Facebook)

Step 1 — Find your Store ID

Your Store ID is needed to build the link that Facebook uses to read your products.

  1. Open the Admin Panel → go to Stores in the left sidebar.
  2. Click on your store name to open the store details page.
  3. Look at your browser's address bar. The URL will look like:
    https://ayts-admin.jerquinbayudo.workers.dev/admin/stores/YOUR-STORE-ID
  4. Copy the long code at the end — that is your Store ID. It looks something like:
    3f8a1c2d-4e5f-6789-abcd-ef0123456789

Tip: You can also find your Store ID in the store details card on that same page.


Step 2 — Build your Feed URL

Replace YOUR-STORE-ID in the link below with the ID you just copied:

Copy this full link — you will paste it into Facebook in the next step.


Step 3 — Open Facebook Commerce Manager

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/commerce.
  2. Sign in with your Facebook Business account.
  3. Select your Catalog from the list (or create one if you haven't yet).

Step 4 — Add your product feed

  1. Inside your catalog, click Data Sources in the left menu.
  2. Click Add Data Source.
  3. Choose Use Data Feeds → then select Scheduled Feed.
  4. Click Enter Feed URL and paste the link you built in Step 2.
  5. Set the Schedule to Daily (recommended).
  6. Click Upload — Facebook will immediately fetch your products and check for any issues.

Step 5 — Check that it worked

After Facebook fetches the feed, you will see a summary of how many products were uploaded and if any were rejected.

Common reasons a product may be rejected:

  • No image — go to Admin → Products, open the product, and add at least one photo.
  • Product is inactive — make sure the product is set to Active in the admin panel.
  • Stock is at 0 — update the inventory count so the product shows as "in stock."

Once approved, products will appear in your Facebook Shop and Instagram Shopping tab within a few minutes.


Keeping products up to date

Kapaldo automatically updates the feed every hour. Facebook will check your feed once a day by default.

If you just updated a product and want Facebook to reflect it immediately:

  1. Go to Commerce Manager → Data Sources.
  2. Find your feed and click Fetch Now.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to reconnect every time I add a new product? No. Once the feed is connected, any new product you add to your Kapaldo store will automatically appear in the next Facebook sync (within 24 hours, or sooner if you use Fetch Now).

Why are some of my products not showing on Facebook? The most common reason is a missing product image. Go to Admin → Products, open the product, and upload at least one image.

Does this cost anything? No. Connecting your store to Facebook Commerce Manager is free.

My store sells on Instagram too — will products appear there? Yes. Once your Facebook Catalog is connected, products are also available for Instagram Shopping. You may need to enable the Shopping feature in your Instagram settings.
